As I am sure you are aware Monday is both Bonfire Night and the implementation date for the new SMS computer system at the LSC. We have been whinging about the implementation of this project for weeks not least as there is still, with half a working day to go before lift off, no dummy site which allows us to check the new CMRF and CDS 6 Wizards. God knows what it is like for major software suppliers, in serious commercial relationships with large numbers of firms, trying to navigate through this fog.
I made my fireworks prediction early last month. Today Steve makes a more fulsome forecast:
“On about the 12th to the 14th of November a statement will be issued placing this on hold and allowing, at least, one more month of paper submissions.”
As it is Friday I will add a final musical prophecy:
