Returning to themes of the past we have had a couple of contract reconciliation queries this week. Not of the old “autorecbot” types though, but ones based upon the “new process” identified in the Law Society/LSC settlement document.
Despite the obvious concern (that your contract might not have been correctly credited date to the online billing situation) standard monthly payments are once again being reduced. These have involved both civil and criminal contracts and an attempt to project a 100%, i.e. level, reconciliation as of end of March 2009. Do remember however in crime that you can request a reconciliation percentage of 107.5%. We have a reasonably simple calculation spread sheet should anyone want one.
