This seems to clarify the “second meeting” and Level 2 Family Help claims issue, perfectly sensibly;
“The word meeting in paragraph 10.55(i) of the Unified Contract Specification must be widely interpreted to encompass the direct giving of substantive instructions to progress matters, whether this is on a face to face basis or by telephone, video conferencing or, for clients who by disability cannot use the phone, by instant messaging”
Must say I didn’t expect “instructions by Facebook” to constitute a second meeting but hey, move with the times.
UPDATE
This has been numbered CLA 54 – and has been, seruptitiously, added to the PoP Manual, at pages 16 & 17 – there is some helpful guidance too.
