I have just concluded an appeal with the following paragraph (the firm might delete it though, as is their prerogative);
The Commission is placed on notice that the firm regard this assessment as being so utterly unreasonable, it represents “maladministration”. This firm will therefore seek an ex gratia payment from Cost Appeal Committee for its reasonable costs in the appeal of this matter.
As this seems likely to become a common occurrence, I put it up here for public consumption.
