For the first time in ages we have a blank “deadlines” section on the office white board. This will change by lunchtime however it is nice to have a bit of a breather. That said we know of a number of substantial appeals currently in gestation – no one gets away with a flawless result, even if the LSC are wrong.
Despite talk of a return to properly structured CCAs we have had another unexplained, unjustified referral to “provider assurance” on the back of a CMs “feelings” about files. This is particularly frustrating given that it follows an on-site visit where the firm were given a clean bill of health.
Thank goodness I don’t act on my feelings.
