I had Friday Song sorted on Tuesday afternoon then I went to see Shelby Lynne last night so I am holding the earlier idea over.
She played like this, solo, acoustic, to 90 people in the Town Hall crypt, despite being the stature of artist a Letterman appearance and a Grammy denotes. She was mesmerising for an hour and a quarter, made all the more authentic because she, clearly, she had already had more then the 2 glasses of wine put on stage for her. I have put this live version up as I much prefer it to the album track. Seeing “First Aid Kit” in Manchester tonight they have a tough act to follow.
