Usual mix of appeals, phone advice and peculiar audit reports today – we even have one conducted in 2112 (embarrassingly complaining about the recording of dates!)
We are however getting full benefit out of the £39 spent on the CPAG WB Handbook. So this afternoon has been a bit of a trip back, rather than forward, in time, to my days at CAB. This is a slow process as my benefits knowledge is now so far out of date as to make this a start from scratch process. What I do seem to have retained is an “instinct” for the way things are structured which so far is proving very helpful.
