I do try and do something on Friday Song from my most recent purchase or a new release. Well there is nothing directly form the Decemberists new double live album* on You tube (though this track is on that and this is a good performance). Richard Hawley’s latest is also still one long, slow month away.
So? This CD is currently getting hammered Chez SP. You’ve seen them here before but this is the title track form the debut album by The Civil Wars
*This is a really good and genuine live recording which captures something of the nature of one of their gig especially the warmth and the pantomime.
