Our main phone number, 225553, is down. It might not be fixed until tomorrow teatime. We have diverted this to the fax machine so you can still call us. But, and you knew there was going to be one, this phone is on a chord and cannot be transferred to anybody’s desk. This means we have to stand in the corner, next to a triffid, adrift from computer monitors and other reference materials and, consequently have to rely on our increasingly addled brains to answer questions. So if you would rather try me on the mobile that would be gratefully appreciated.
