We went to see the Civil Wars last week in what might be one of their last ever live performances. They, inexplicably, didn’t do an encore and a couple of days later cancelled the remainder of the tour due to “irreconcilable differences”. Sad – they were very good.
As it was a Saturday we had time to go up early, eat and see the support act The Lumineers. They too were good , if you can get past their slightly over enthusiastic manner*. Mrs SP and Mrs B even found themselves drawn to seeing them again – in Dublin next year. Of the 2 videos I found I prefer the one below, however this is the “single”.
*I was possibly coming down with the man flu at this point and this might be unfair.
