I am looking at the list I have compiled of jobs to do having returned from 2 days “shouting” (JRS shorthand for Law Society Accredited CPD Training)
I have as yet not even started on item 1 because of phone calls and emails.
The list includes:
A failed Family bid
More CCLF recoupment letters from the LSC
LASPO language amendments to our client care letters
Convoluted enquiry about POCA funding
Someone who wants to become a Duty Solicitor
2 civil costs appeals
Reading the final versions of contract documentation
I still have the “man flu” and my brain hurts from the aforementioned 12 hours of training. Tomorrow I will sleep like the dead.
