The Day Today

Delivered the first of three face-to-face “shouting” sessions booked in before the LASPO portcullis comes crashing down. Never my best at 9am I find. However I left behind half a dozen depressed delegates so at least mission accomplished.

Elsewhere our representations, deliberately passed off as the firms own, persuaded a Contract Manager to back down on a costs matter. This is surprising; standard practice, exemplified on my current appeal, is for them to say – “I am not prepared to discuss my findings they can just go to the ICA if you disagree”. Consequently I am not going to specify or gloat about the case in point as that would only be likely to harden this attitude.

And finally – check the e-portal for any messages about verification. You should even reply to the erroneous ones.
