I spent yesterday morning tag team wrestling with a client firm over a Prison Law appeal. I advised that regardless of the strength of the appeal the process was not transparent and that they should not build up their hopes.
So in complete contradiction we get a result in today which suggests the opposite. Our perfectly reasonable representations have clearly been read and accepted in the bulk of cases. I even think we have a solid case on the remaining non-contentious matters. We are 2:0 up at the break.
Alternatively it might just show how hit and miss the situation is.
