JRS Private Investigations

Last week we had notice of a “rejection” for “sending copied and not original FAS forms”. The firm were adamant that they had.

I have just spoken to a firm who have had the self same experience, as has had another local firm.

We have now got to the stage that we forensically test advocacy forms. I have just been shown one from a live costing file which does look like a copy, indeed it was a blank copy. We now flip them over to test for a handwritten indentation on the reverse.

Please could LAA readers pass this investigative technique onto their assessment teams.
