Reject First, Think Never

A webinar delegate tried our suggestion of stating something like this on a Civil bill:

DO NOT reject this bill please assess it as drawn we wish to appeal any proposed reductions”

This related to a fixed fee disbursement which they anticipated would result in a rejection and a request for a breakdown against hourly rates. This was not possible.

Sure enough that what happened with the clear explanation of the problem totally ignored.

Elsewhere the LAA have miss-numbered the subsections of 9.24 of 2010 Contract. I hereby issue them with a Contract Notice.

UPDATE

A round of e-mails later the LAA “civilclaimfix” team agree this is not a rejection and will process – progress of a sort.

I also discovered another numbering error, this time in old CBAM. – Second and final Contract Notice issued.
