I do not intend to dignify this with a detailed rebuttal; it is a groundless cost cutting exercise nothing more, the talk of “transformation” and so forth are weasel words. It is also entirely clear that reason does not work and, indeed, is a thorough waste of time.
I am in no position to comment as to what action the profession will take – though I am helping with some training during next weeks day of action. I do know that firms are now preparing for the worst and seeking the (limited) assistance we can offer.
