Perhaps it was to this update that my source for last weeks speculative start date for Duty Contract bidding was pointing.
The action plan it promises is currently “Page not found” – hopefully we will get to update you later.
We have become increasingly convinced that the reason for delay is the difficulty in getting a Committee decision as to the type of hat to be used as the “Duty Contract Selection and Distribution Mechanism”.
This is undoubtedly a fairer and more rational mechanism than any previously proposed, we might find out later today.
You will see that I favour the “shiny topper set at a jaunty angle”
This does however lead us back through the looking glass .
