I will cut to the chase and spare you the back story. After some time trying to get clarification, having previously been told the opposite, here is the response of the LAA to the question – can we do Court of Protection work under a family contract?
“You may still undertake Court of Protection work under a family contract providing that the underlying legal issue has a family element to it eg, contact/residence for a vulnerable adult”.
