October has passed without a Duty Client bid round – without this causing a great deal of surprise here. Less surprisingly I continue to be asked for my view as to the likelihood that it will now happen at all. I do not want to jinx my fervent hope that it will not by expressing an opinion.
In any event today’s concern is Own Client preparedness and especially the need for an externally accredited quality assurance standard. Essentially this means you need either SQM or Lexcel by, on current deadlines, July next year.
