Things have gradually settled down post 2015 Duty bid round – although the flurry of appeals which followed it has not abated. One of these reaches deadline tomorrow, another the day after and a new one has just dropped on the desk.
You know what I feel about all of these, the quality does not improve in fact it gets worse. It is the degree of bad faith involved that I find staggering – for instance at the last audit she told my clients when advice of Counsel was appropriate this time she just says “out of scope” – disgraceful.
There might be an opinion of Counsel she is even less keen on in the near future.
Another potential SQM mock audit is looming later in the week for one luck firm too.
