I came across this during the BBC London Olympic coverage. It comes from an album in which Thea Gilmore provides music to lyrics Sandy Denny wrote but did not get round to turning into songs before her untimely death. I suspect this one was composed around the time of her final album “Rendezvous”, recorded in the States.
It seems appropriate given this week’s events in London.
