We were flipping through the TV listings thinking, as often we do, there are 57 channels but nothing on. Chance took us to Sky Arts at the beginning of an hour-long live set from Ray LaMontagne which was sensational. Great songwriting, varied in tone and texture with fantastic musicality. He is someone I’ve been aware of but never really listend to save the odd song, which I have now remedied via the new Apple music service.
There are plenty of individual songs I could pick instead here is a similar session he did for the Beeb.
